Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was confronted by students at Stanford University on Monday, and she graciously answered their questions — even telling her hosts to let her finish the conversation before they hauled her off to dinner.

The main questioner — how much you wanna bet he’s an English major? — kept pressing her on Guantanamo Bay and torture.
